Report: Egyptian military halts attack in Sinai
The Egyptian military attack in northern Sinai has ended after five hours of air strikes that killed 20 terrorists, Egyptian daily al-Youm al-Saba reported Wednesday.
The military offensive follows attacks on Sunday that killed 16 border guards and which the government blamed partly on Islamist militants. An official confirmation on the conclusion of the military operation has yet to be released. (Roi Kais)
