Egypt army says recent counter-terrorism operations successful

The Egyptian army announced that it has begun collaborating with the country's interior ministry in its mission to rid Sinai of terrorist activity. The army said in a statement that the operations that were carried out in the peninsula over the past 24 hours were regarded as successful, and will go on as necessary. (Roi Kais)
