Border Guard officer injured by discharged bullet

A Border Guard officer was seriously wounded as a result of a discharged bullet at a training base in Binyamin.

An initial investigation has revealed that the officer was most likely inspecting his weapon when it discharged. He was wounded in his chest and evacuated by helicopter to the Hadassah Medical Center. (Itamar Fleishman)
