2 arrested in connection with October 2000 lynch

Released for publication: The Shin Bet and Shai District Police have exposed a major Hamas terror cell that operated in Ramallah and in the Binyamin region; they arrested several suspects including two Hamas operatives who admitted to taking part in the October 2000 lynch at the Ramallah Palestinian police station.
Two IDF soldiers were murdered in the lynch. It was released for publication that indictments have been filed against the suspects; the victims' families have been notified. (Yoav Zitun and Itamar Fleishman)
