London 2012: Neta Rivkin finishes 7th in rhythmic gymnastic finals
The Israeli rhythmic gymnast marked a historic achievement in the women's rhythmic individual all-around competition improving on Israeli rhythmic gymnast's Irina Risenzon's 9th place from the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. Rivkin will be honored with carrying the Israeli flag during the Olympic closing ceremony.
After 4 events (ball, hoop, clubs, ribbon) Rivkin gathered 109 points which ranked her in 7th place. Yevgeniya Kanayeva (Russia) defended her Beijing Olympic title with 116.90 points. (ynet)
