2 soldiers suspected of visiting brothel during Greece training

According to testimonies, the incident took place during Joint military drill with Greek Navy. IDF: If allegations confirmed, they will face consequences

The IDF is investigating testimonies claiming that two soldiers serving in the Navy had sexual relations with prostitutes during a military exercise with the Greek Navy in Piraeus.

 

The incident allegedly occurred at a local brothel during the troops' leisure time. According to one testimony, one of the soldiers received a medal for the act.

The two combat soldiers suspected of involvement in the case were taking part in a military drill with Greek warships in the Mediterranean Sea, which lasted several weeks and included live ammunition and maneuvering exercises.

 

According to testimonies, while staying at the port city of Piraeus, the two soldiers, who serve onboard a missile boat, visited a local brothel and paid for sexual services.

 

When they met up with their comrades, the soldiers bragged about their visit, and were overheard by one of the commanders after another soldier praised them for their act.

 

The IDF stated in response that "The allegation will be investigation and should they be confirmed – the soldiers involved will face harsh consequences."
