According to reports, Seoul hopes to become the first international client for the system. It is said to be exploring the system's ability to meet the threat posed by Pyongyang's
rockets.
The system would, however, need to undergo some changes to fit Seoul's needs.
According to IsraelDefense, should the deal go through, South Korea intends to deploy the defense system around "sensitive facilities" in the South Korean capital.
A South Korean delegation has reportedly visited Israel and met with Rafael and defense industry officials in regards to a possible deal.
