EU says consulted with Israel on tax breaks
The European Union commented on the Foreign Ministry's act of protest over its omission of the city of Modiin from the "eligible imports" list and said that contrary to the assertion that it cut off negotiations on the issue, no talks were required prior to making the announcement.

The EU said that in accordance with a 2004 agreement it has held many consultations with Israel prior to the announcement and took its suggestions into considerations. (Ynet)
