Government approves Dichter as home front defense minister

The government unanimously approved the appointment of Avi Dichter as home front defense minister, replacing Matan Vilnai, who is to serve as Israeli ambassador to China.
Yesterday, Dichter resigned from the Knesset and the Kadima party. Tomorrow, the appointment will be brought to the Knesset's approval. (Attila Somfalvi)
