EU denounces Iran's call to destroy Israel
European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton harshly condemned statements made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei who called for Israel's destruction. Ashton urged Tehran to avoid creating more tensions.
She said that Israel's right to exist could not be put in question. (AFP)
