Second suspect in Tel Aviv rape case released; police appeal

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court released the second Eritrean citizens suspected of raping a woman in Tel Aviv last week.
Earlier when she ruled that the first suspect be released, Justice Dorit Reich Shapira criticized police and wrote: "Sadly, in spite of the severity of the crime, the investigation was not conducted with the necessary speed and professionalism." Police are appealing the decision in the Tel Aviv District Court. (Eli Senyor)
