France: 3 indicted for robbing jewelry stores while disguised as rabbis

Three young men, aged 19 to 20, are being indicted for allegedly robbing several jewelry stores in suburban Paris while wearing rabbi costumes, a judicial source told AFP.
According to the source, one of the robbers would appear at the entrance to a store while disguised as a rabbi in order to "inspire confidence." He would then threaten the victim with a handgun or a tear gas canister while opening the door for his accomplices. (AFP)
