Iran invites UN chief for meeting on human rights in Palestine

The chairman of the human rights committee in the Iranian parliament invited UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for a discussion about human rights situation in Palestine, Bahrain and Myanmar, Iranian news agency Fars reported on Saturday.
Ban has been invited to attend a Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran next week, but it is still unclear whether he will accept the invitation. (Dudi Cohen)
