Report: Ismail Haniya refuses to attend Iran summit

A website closely linked to Hamas reported that Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya has decided not to attend the summit of Non-Aligned Movement leaders which will take place this week in Iran, in an effort not to exacerbate inter-Palestinian divisions.
Earlier on Sunday, Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas, relayed by his foreign minister, that he would boycott the summit if Haniya were to attend it as well. (AFP)
