Report: Israeli envoy visits Egypt, meets senior officials
The al-Ahram newspaper's website reported that an Israeli envoy held a visit in Egypt on Sunday which lasted a few hours during which he met with Egyptian defense officials to discuss the latest developments in Sinai.
According to the report, the envoy left Egypt in the evening hours on board a military jet. Last week, Egypt launched a large scale operation to purge the Sinai Peninsula of terrorists and deployed tanks in the region. (Roi Kais)
