Ban Ki-Moon: Rejects calls for Israel's annihilation
Speaking at the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran, UN General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon said he resolutely rejected any call by any UN member country to destroy another member state. Ban added that he rejected Holocaust denial.
According to Ban, claiming that Israel did not have a right to exist or describing it in racist terms was not just wrong, it undermined the principles the UN was committed to. (Roi Kais)
