Upheaval at Saharonim prison: 500 Eritreans refuse to enter cells

Some 500 Eritreans who are detained at the Saharonim prison in the Negev have refused to enter their cells in protest against their arrests. A prison guard unit managed to restore order in the detention facility.
Additional Israel Prison Service forces have been deployed to the scene for fear of a repeat incident. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
