Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz have decided against cutting the excise tax on gas, a measure that could have mitigated the petrol price hike that is expected to go into effect over the weekend. The officials cited the State's limited resources as the rationale behind their decision.
