Report: Israeli seeks to broker Tarabin deal with Egypt

An Israeli security official has reportedly visited Egypt last week to see of a deal could be brokered to free Israeli citizen Uda Tarabin, who is serving an 11-year-sentence in Cairo.

According to Al-Ahram, the official offered a prisoner exchange deal that would see Tarabin exchanged for 83 Egyptians held in Israel. (Roi Kais)
