German pediatricians: Circumcision an 'injury'

The German pediatricians' association said that drill a hole in a child's ear for the purpose of an earring constitutes an "injury" like circumcision, according to its president quoted in the Frankfurter Sonntagszeitung forthcoming Sunday.
Association President Wolfram Hartmann said drilling a hole in the ear hurts the child's integrity, like circumcision does. (AFP)
