1 person killed in shooting in central Helsinki

Finnish media have reported that a gunman shot and killed one person in central Helsinki on Monday afternoon, a few hundred meters (yards) from the Finnish capital's railway station.
The country's national news agency said that one person was hit in the incident. Iltalehti tabloid reported that the suspect "was a young male" who was handcuffed and led away by the police. STT reported that bystanders were not in any danger. (AP)
