Beersheba wine festival to be held as planned

The Beersheba wine festival, which sparked a flurry of angry reactions among Arab and Islamic leaders, will be held as planned. The controversy focused on the site of the wine festival – the courtyard of Beersheba's largest and oldest Mosque.
Though the festival will not be canceled, nor moved to a different location, the Beershaba municipality and representatives of the Arab community have reached an understanding, by which wine booths will be stationed further from the mosque. (Ilana Curiel)
