Powerful earthquake reported in Costa Rica
A powerful, magnitude-7.9 earthquake has shaken Costa Rica, according to the US Geological Survey.There are no immediate accounts of damage or injuries.
The USGS said the quake struck offshore, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) from the town of Liberia. (AP)
