Israeli ambassador to UN: Assad's regime is in its death throes

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor said during an emergency General Assembly meeting on the crisis in Syria that Bashar Assad's regime is in its "death throes" and is therefore mercilessly massacring the Syrian people. Prosor asserted that the embattled leader has lost the legitimacy to rule.
The envoy further accused Iran and Hezbollah for orchestrating the killing spree perpetrated by the Syrian regime. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
