PM: We are determined to halt surge of infiltrators

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has addressed the refugee crisis on Israel's southern border, saying that "Everyone must understand that Israel is not a destination for infiltrators."

The authorities reportedly agreed to allow entrance to three Eritrean asylum seekers who are part of a group of migrants trapped between the Israeli and Egyptian border fences. The rest were to be sent back to Egypt. "We are determined to stop the surge of infiltration," Netanyahu said. "We will bolster the measures against employers of illegal aliens, and will continue in the effort to deport the infiltrators." (Attila Somfalvi)
