Tzipi Livni, who served as Foreign Minister during Operation Cast Lead said at a summit on the operation: "During the operation I had vocal arguments with Condoleezza Rice, they were so loud they bothered my neighbors, but we preferred to keep the arguments behind the scenes."
Livni added: "Israel's relationship with the US is not a matter for US political wrangling and the US election campaign. Every time the talks get louder another leader friendly to Israel gets up and says 'don't carry out a strike against Iran.'" (Yoav Zitun)
