IDB to sell Maariv for NIS 85M

Nohi Dankner's IDB Group has finalized the sale of the struggling daily newspaper Maariv to businessman Shlomo Ben Zvi, who owns another daily – Makor Rishon.

The deal is estimated at NIS 85 million (roughly $21 million) and includes Maariv's website "NRG," its book pulishing house and its chain of magazines and local publications; but it does not include Maariv's printing facility. (Calcalist)
