Court rejects Palestinians' Operation Cast Lead petition
The Nazareth District Court rejected a claim filed by family members of 22 Palestinians from Gaza who were killed in an accidental IDF bombardment during Operation Cast Lead.
The judge noted that the incident took place during a war in which civilians often get hurt accidentally and said that the State was not liable. "You cannot hold the unfortunate deaths against the IDF which should be placed at the door of the Hamas regime in Gaza. (Ahiya Raved)
