Peres: Israel values US even at times of disagreements
President Shimon Peres attended a Jewish New Year ceremony at the Navy base in Haifa and addressed the Iranian nuclear threat. Peres noted that the "US sees the danger too" and added, "The world can't sleep at night when a terrorist country poses a nuclear threat."
The president further added, "The US has been a tremendous friend to us from day one and we've always appreciated that even at times of disagreements." (Maor Buchnik)
