President Shimon Peres sent a condolence letter to US President Barak Obama following the attack on the US embassy in Libya on Tuesday, that left the US envoy in the country and three additional staffers dead.
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman further denounced the attack, and said that it was a heinous terror attack aimed at the West. He further said that the fact that the attack took place around the date of the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, further proves that this is a long battle against people who make it their lives' purpose to kill.
