Hollande: Diplomatic solution needed for Iran crisis

France's president is also joining efforts to prevent an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities: On Wednesday François Hollande spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and stressed that "a diplomatic solution must be found" vis-à-vis the nuclear crisis, the Elysee Palace stated.
During the talk Hollande made it clear to Netanyahu that he was determined that Tehran accept the UN Security Council and IAEA resolutions. The Elysee Palace said that the French would increase sanctions against Iran if it failed to comply with international laws. (AFP)
