A prominent Myanmar activist has canceled a trip to the United States to receive a democracy award, to show solidarity with more than a dozen other activists whose passport applications have apparently been denied.
Min Ko Naing said Saturday that he will not travel to Washington for a ceremony at the National Endowment for Democracy, to send a message that "we should all be treated equally." (AP)
