One hundred people were arrested Saturday in Paris, suspected of having taken part in a demonstration near the American Embassy and the Ministry of Interior, a police source told AFP.
The anti-American demonstrations, sometimes fatal, have proliferated across the Muslim world after the release of excerpts from an Islamophobic film, "Innocence of Muslims," which describes Islam as a "cancer". (AFP)
