Iran: Explosion at rockets base an accident

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, Mohammad Ali Jafari, said that a Revolutionary Guards base in which an explosion occurred last year was carrying out research in rockets used as satellite launchers, not for defense purposes, Iranian news agency Fars reported Sunday.
Jafari added that the explosion was an accident, which "set back research by only six months, and now work is back in progress." An official western intelligence source has evaluated in the past that the Israeli Mossad was behind the explosion. (Dudi Cohen)
