Egypt: Iran's support for Syria hinders relations

The spokesman for President Mohammed Morsi says the Egyptian leader told Iran's foreign minister in a meeting in Cairo that relations between the two countries are being hindered by Tehran's support for Syria's regime.
Spokesman Yasser Ali says Morsi told the Iranian minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, in a meeting Tuesday that as president he cannot ignore public opinion in Egypt against the Syrian regime "that uses harsh language and violence against people." (AP)
