Iranian FM meets with Assad in Damascus

Syria's President Bashar Assad met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and told him that "Syria would welcome any balanced solution that would ensure the interests of the Syrian people."
According to a report in IRNA, Salehi said that "Syria must not agree to any kind of external boycott," and even sent the warm regards of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (Dudi Cohen)
