Rahat: Mother suspected of murdering 3 of her kids
Paramedics dispatched to Bedouin town discover bodies of children aged 4, 8 with stab wounds; infant girl declared dead later. Suspect's father: I would have stabbed her
The bodies of three children – a two-month-old girl, a four-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy – were found in the Bedouin city of Rahat on Wednesday with signs of violence on them.
Police suspect the children's mother, who was arrested had stabbed them to death in the chest and neck.
A three-year-old girl who sustained light injuries in the incident was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

The Magen David Adom emergency services said paramedics were dispatched to neighborhood no. 7 in Rahat discovered the dead children. Stab wounds were found on the victims' necks and chests.
MDA Southern District Director Itzik Alfassi said, "Paramedics were alerted to the scene and found the bodies of two children, aged four and six, with stab wounds on them. Meanwhile, other paramedics were sent to a local clinic to treat other children who were hurt in the incident. Later, emergency services declared a third child dead."
The suspect's father said, "She is a cultured woman who is not short on money and has a husband who works. They earn a salary. I couldn't believe what happened. Had I been allowed to enter (the apartment), I would have taken a knife and stabbed her (the mother)."
An official in Rahat told Ynet, "I looked into the incident. It is suspected that the murders were the result of a domestic dispute. Relatives said the mother and her husband got into a heated argument over something. The woman went crazy and murdered her children."
The family is not under the care of social services, but the woman, who is in her 30s, is known to them. One of the social workers said the family's financial situation is dire.
In October 2010 Michal Aloni was arrested on suspicion that she murdered her two daughters, aged four and six. The bodies were found in the family's apartment in Ra'anana. The mother admitted that she had killed her daughters. "I took their lives," she said.
In July of the same year Itay Ben-Dror murdered his three children, aged 10, eight and five in their apartment in Netanya.
In September 2009 Assaf Goldring committed suicide after being convicted of murdering his 3-year-old daughter Noa two months earlier in n Moshav Batzra.
