Fatah official: Abbas does not intend to resign

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen denied reports that claimed that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was set to resign. Speaking to Palestinian news agency Maan, he stressed that Abbas would continue in his current role until the next elections.
The official did state that Abbas was not seeking a second term. (Roi Kais)
