Tehran: Students burn US, Israeli flags at French embassy
Students in Tehran staged a massive rally and burnt US and Israeli flags in a show of protest against the publication of caricatures mocking Mohammed in a French magazine as well as the anti-Islam movie, the FARS news agency reported.
Hundreds of Iranian students gathered in front of the French mission in Tehran since the early hours of Thursday morning trampled the US and Israeli flags and chanted slogans "Death to the US", "Death to Britain", "Death to France" and "Death to Israel." (Dudi Cohen)
