New lifestyle online magazine launched

Telavivian.com features fashion, culture and lifestyle seen through eyes of Tel Aviv’s top bloggers

Telavivian.com, a new online magazine with six blogs about lifestyle, fashion, art, food and nightlife in Tel Aviv, aims to bring everyday life in Tel Aviv to an international crowd.

Telavivian.com was founded by Anna Kopito, Eva Kopito and Anna Lindahl, who all have experience from some of the largest online magazines in Sweden, and designed by the Swedish graphic designer Katarina Lindh.

"Telavivian.com has carefully selected six of the most interesting and exuberant blogs Tel Aviv has to offer. We strives to combine a minimalistic design with colorful thoughts and stories from Tel Aviv," says Anna Kopito, co-founder of the magazine.

"Telavivian.com will capture details, colors and surroundings and reflect what is seen through the eyes of the individual blogger," she adds.

"Since Israel is often primarily associated with its political situation, the culture, art and creativity of Tel Aviv is often overshadowed. We want to show the authentic everyday life in Tel Aviv to an international crowd."

The bloggers on Telavivian.com are prominent journalists, photographers, stylists, and artists from magazines and newspapers such as Time Out, ELLE, Haaretz and Maariv.

Several of them already have successful blogs, including Eyal de Leeuw and Sahar Shalev who started the first Hebrew-written male fashion blog – Ha Garconnière.
