2 Israelis indicted for helping Hamas man kidnap Eritrean migrant
Two Israelis have been charged with kidnapping after they allegedly helped a Hamas operative abduct an Eritrean man in Sinai.
According to the indictment, Yaakov Grad, 43, of Kfar Yona and Eliran Moshe, 25, of Netanya, helped collect NIS 13,000 in ransom from the abducted man's family member and transfer it to Hamas operatives in Jerusalem after pocketing a NIS 2,000 fee. The defendants claim that they believed they were collecting a debt. (Aviel Magnezi and Noam Dabul Dvir)
