Obama to speak by phone with Netanyahu

US President Barack Obama may confer by telephone Friday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a spokesman for the White House.
The spokesman reported that Obama spent only 24 hours in New York earlier this week, on the occasion of the UN General Assembly at which he spoke Tuesday before Netanyahu arrived. (AFP)
