General Avraham 'Bren' Adan passes away

General Avraham (Bren) Adan passed away Thursday night in his Ramat Hasharon home at the age of 86.

During the War of Independence he was a company commander in the 8th Battalion of the Negev Brigade and participated in Operation Uvda. He raised the Ink Flag claiming the territory for Israel. (Elior Levi)
