Mashaal hints he may return to Hamas leadership in future
Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal has implied that he may return to the movement's leadership despite his recent decision not to run for another term.
"I am sticking to my wish to stay away, at least temporarily, but I still have a majority among members of the Shura Council and among Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip," Mashaal said at the sidelines of a conference of the Turkish ruling party in Ankara. (Elior Levy)
