Tribe of Jordanian envoy to Israel condemns his appointment
The Obeidat tribe in Jordan has condemned the appointment of its member Walid Khalid Obeidat as the Jordanian ambassador to Israel. The tribe said in a statement published in the al-Dustour newspaper that the appointment contradicts the tribe members' history and stand.
"Whoever takes such an appointment upon himself puts his hand in the hands of those who have worked to rob lands and kill the people of Palestine," the statement said. (Roi Kais)
