Livnat: Barak unlikely to be reelected

Culture and Sports Minister Limor Livnat addressed reports of a rift between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday. "It's obvious that Ehud Barack does not represent a large portion of the Israeli public. He is barely scratching the election threshold and it's unlikely he'll be reelected in the next Knesset election."
Livnat said she had warned Netanyahu of Barak and told him that the defense minister is unauthorized to act independently opposite the US behind the prime minister's back. (Moran Azulay)
