Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Syrian Vice President Farouk al-Sharaa is "a reasonable man" that can replace Syria's Bashar Assad as president and head a transitional government.
"He did not participate in the massacres in Syria," the Turkish FM told state TV. "No one knows the system better that he does." Davutoglu noted that even the Syrian opposition is willing to accept al-Sharaa as the country's future leader. (AFP)
