Report: Syrian air force ordered to seize Turkish aircraft

A Lebanese newspaper affiliated with the Bashar Assad regime reported that the Syrian army was directed to seize every Turkish aircraft flying over Syrian airspace and force its landing, due to the Turkish interception of a Syrian plane over Ankara on Wednesday.

In response, Turkey instructed all of its aircraft to avoid flying over Syrian airspace. (Elior Levy)
