Report: Putin's scheduled Turkey visit postponed

Russian President Vladmir Putin has postponed a scheduled visit to Turkey, his spokesman said Thursday, without specifying the reason for the delay or giving the original date for the trip.

Turkey's Foreign ministry denied reports claiming Russia demanded clarifications regarding the Turkish seizure of a civilian Russian plane on en route to Syria, suspecting it carried weapons and military equipment designated for Assad's regime. (AFP)
