IDF soldier Majdy Halabi's remains discovered

Cleared for publication: The remains of IDF soldier Majdy Halabi, who went missing in May 2005, were discovered by a civilian touring a forest near Isfiya.

The body was found two weeks ago and its remains were transferred to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, where a DNA test confirmed they belong to the missing soldier. Police are investigating the circumstances behid Halabi's death. His family has been notified. (Ahia Raved)
